I studied Fine Arts and English at both The George Washington University and George Mason University, but my greatest learning experience came later, at my first real publishing job. I was fortunate enough to find a mentor—a super-talented artist and infinitely patient teacher (thanks, John!)—who introduced me to the world of computer-based graphic design and desktop publishing using a then-revolutionary program known as PageMaker 1.0.
Since then, I’ve expanded my repertoire to include many other graphics programs. Currently, I use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, and Dreamweaver.
